I want a Zenn was established to help pressure Canadian provincial governments to move forward with LSV legislation. We've also setup a forum for discussions on Zenn Cars, for both current owners and wannabe owners. We hope to make this the world's largest Zenn support site. The site owner is not affiliated with Zenn Motor Company. With Head Office in Toronto, Canada, ZENN Motor Company is dedicated to being the global leader in producing zero emission transportation solutions for markets around the world. The Company's current ZENN car is the perfect vehicle for urban commuters, fleets (such as resorts, gated communities, airports, college and business campuses, municipalities, parks and more), the environmentally conscious driver, and consumers who just want to save money. The ZENN is sold through a growing network of retailers across the United States. |

Nicolas Van Praet, Canwest News ServicePublished: Friday, June 27, 2008Gilles Allard, production chief of Zenn Motor Co., still visits his local gas station despite the fact he drives one of the company's gas-less electric cars. As he says, he needs his milk and cigarettes. Allard is a busy guy these days. His small team is building Zenn cars at a factory just north of Montreal at a rate of two to three vehicles a day and counting. Every one of them is being shipped to dealers in the United States for willing buyers. They're still illegal on most Canadian roads. Like other companies selling alternative transportation in an oil-dependent world, Toronto-based Zenn has suddenly become a sexy stock. Its shares have gained 81 per cent over the past three months on the Toronto Venture Exchange despite the fact the company has yet to post a profit. |

Jun 17, 2008 TORONTO — Electric car company Zenn Motor Co. Inc. (TSXV:ZNN) said Tuesday it was evaluating the potential sale of its fully electric vehicles in Canada after a Quebec decision to launch a pilot project to allow low-speed vehicles. Zenn CEO Ian Clifford said the decision was a "significant reversal" to previous regulations that prevented the company from seriously considering sales in Canada. "Expansion into the Quebec market will require the establishment of proper sales and service channels and we are actively assessing this to try and bring the Zenn to Quebec as soon as possible," Clifford said in statement. The company said Zenn cars are currently sold exclusively in the United States and are road-legal in 44 out of 50 states. |
